Race day,"non-online", registration ends September 21, 2019 at 6:30 AM. We need to provide runner's information to the race timers.

Late registration does not guarantee size of race t-shirt.  Deadline for t-shirt size is August 27th.  See size chart on our Trail Run page.

We have a Half Marathon, 10k and 5k.

What is the trail like?

The Kaʻu Coffee Trail Run returns for its 6th year offering moderate to highly-challenging 5K, 10K and 1/2 marathon races through macadamia nut and coffee fields along the beautiful slopes of rural Ka'u on the southern side of Hawaii Island.

The race begins and ends at the Ka'u Coffee Mill in Pahala (Wood Valley). The course starts with a family-friendly 5K, continues uphill through a moderately-challenging 10K and reaches a 3100-foot elevation in the vigorously-exhilarating Half Marathon.

Do you have aid stations and rest rooms on the course itself?  If so, what do they serve and how far apart are they?

Yes, we have several aid stations. Each manned station is a mile apart. Restrooms are at the start, another at the five mile marker, then another at the reservoir, which is only on the half marathon race.  (See course maps page)
